Job summary

Covenant Health is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse Educator to lead the Grow Your Own program. This role supports learners, tutors, and site-based educators, aligning education with workforce development and patient-centred care across Alberta.

The LPN Educator will monitor progress, address barriers, and collaborate with operations and teaching partners to strengthen capacity and ensure practice-ready graduates for Covenant Health sites.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Practical Nursing program and must be actively registered with CLPNA.
• Must have 3–5 years of recent clinical nursing experience in continuing care, supportive living, or acute care.
• Demonstrated experience supporting Covenant Health's GYO program, including learner education and facilitation.
• Strong communication, presentation and coordination skills with diverse learners.

Responsibilities

• Educate and mentor learners and site-based tutors across Covenant Health sites.
• Coordinate and support delivery of the Grow Your Own program and related curricula.
• Monitor learner progress, address barriers to success and contribute to program improvement.
• Collaborate with leaders to plan workforce development and learner pipeline opportunities.
