Job summary

Covenant Health in La Crete, Alberta is seeking a Transition Graduate Nurse (TGN) for the La Crete Community Health Centre. You will be supervised by a Clinical Guide and provide holistic care across the lifespan, with a plan to progress to independent RN/RPN practice.

The role is a regulated, supernumerary GNTPP position with an initial 1.00 FTE and shift rotation including days, nights and weekends. RCIF eligibility and a Northern Allowance apply.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited nursing education program.
• Active or eligible for CRNA registration with CRNA.
• Current BCLS Health Care Provider (HCP).
• Graduate Nurses or Registered Nurses within 12 months of start date.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care within the GNTPP framework.
• Conduct holistic assessments and develop care plans.
• Coordinate interdisciplinary care and support transition to independent practice.
