Job summary

Glenlyon Norfolk School is seeking a Grade 1 Teacher for a temporary maternity leave cover from December 2026 to June 2028. The teacher will support IB units that integrate the BC curriculum and contribute to a caring, collaborative school community.

A BC teaching certificate is required, with strong literacy and numeracy experience at the primary level. IB training is preferred but not mandatory; the successful candidate embraces inquiry-based, differentiated learning.

Salary Range: $71,904.00 To $116,500.00 Annually

Glenlyon Norfolk School (GNS) is an independent JK to Grade 12 International Baccalaureate and Round Square day and boarding school located on two campuses in Victoria, BC, Canada. Compensation is determined by education and experience; the grid ranges from $71,904 to $116,500.
