Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Law, Public Policy or Public Administration.
  • 5–7 years of compliance or HR policy experience in public sector or regulated env.
  • Experience with unionized environments and collective bargaining processes.
  • Knowledge of CSPA, MFIPPA, OHRC and privacy/records legislation.
  • Analytical, discrete, and capable of advising senior leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Audit board bylaws, policy registers, and sub‑committees for regulatory alignment.
  • Assist in labour relations and track collective bargaining cycles.
  • Coordinate Inspector General liaison and ensure audit readiness.
  • Oversee HR data privacy, disciplinary data, and trend reporting.
  • Manage MFIPPA responses and FOI requests for board records.
  • Supervise board staff on compliance workflows and data security.
