Job summary

Magna Golf Club in Aurora, Ontario is seeking a Golf Shop Assistant for the fall season to support merchandising and day-to-day shop operations. The role requires flexibility across weekdays, weekends, and holidays with 30-40 hours per week and compensation commensurate with experience.

The successful candidate will deliver exceptional customer service, assist with shop operations and events, and contribute to a polished retail environment for members and guests.

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills:

• Previous retail and merchandising experience.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• The ability to work within a team environment.
• Experience within the golf industry is an asset, but not a requirement of the position.
• Availability during the week, over the weekend, and on holidays throughout the term of the golf season, and the ability to work varying shifts.

The successful candidate will be responsible for, but not limited to:

• Providing an unparalleled level of customer service.
• Assisting with the day-to-day operation at the club.
• Merchandising and sales within the Golf Shop.
• Assist with facilitation of club events.

Terms of employment are as follows:

• 30-40 hours per week from September tothe end of October.
• Hourly wage commensurate with experience.
• Year-end gratuity.
• Apparel package.
