Job summary

Magna Golf Club, located in Aurora, Ontario, is seeking experienced servers to join our private club's food and beverage team for both full-time and part-time roles.Candidates should be able to work lunch and dinner shifts, including weekends, and maintain exceptional service standards.

We value menu knowledge, attentiveness, teamwork, and a professional demeanor, with strong experience in fine dining within a golf club or high-end restaurant.

Qualifications

• Have a minimum of 3 years’ fine dining experience serving in a golf club or high-end restaurant.
• Be dedicated to a high level of service and professionalism.
• Have exceptional attention to detail.
• Be a positive individual.
• Demonstrate the ability to follow directions and meet deadlines.
• Be able to work well under pressure and effectively balance multiple tasks.
• Be an effective communicator and passionate about working in a team environment.
• Proficient in POS Systems; JONAS Clubhouse Software is an asset.
• Have flexible full-time/part-time availability; holiday, evening and weekend shifts are required.
• Have SmartServe certification.
• Be able to work legally in Canada.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all sections are set and ready for service.
• Guide members through the menu, offering suggestions and highlighting specials that fit their preferences.
• Possess strong menu knowledge and the ability to modify dishes based on preferences and dietary restrictions.
• Anticipate member needs through member profiles and reservation lists.
• Create an unforgettable service experience and leave every member feeling valued and unique.
• Other duties as assigned and required by management.
