Job summary

Sidetrade is seeking a Global VP of Talent Acquisition to design and lead a scalable, data-driven TA function across North America, Europe, and APAC. You’ll partner with the CEO and executives to attract, hire, and onboard top AI and SaaS talent, from AI experts to GTM leaders, while building a candidate-centric, compliant, and scalable capability.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in talent acquisition with 5+ years in senior TA leadership in SaaS or AI.
• Experience building and scaling global TA across multiple regions (US, Europe).
• Personally hiring C-level executives with proven outcomes.
• Experience in mid-size, fast-growing companies.
• Hands-on yet strategic, with bias for action.
• Experience managing distributed, cross-cultural teams.
• Ability to persuade C-level candidates to join an AI strategy.
• Strong TA metrics mindset and ability to forecast hiring needs.
• Deep knowledge of sourcing, employer branding, and recruiting tech.
• Excellent stakeholder management with senior leaders.
• Understanding of global employment law and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Define and own global TA strategy; align with headcount budgets and goals.
• Build and lead a high-performing, global TA team across regions.
• Personally own senior and executive hiring with the CEO.
• Design and improve AI-enabled recruiting workflows and SLAs.
• Own employer branding and EVP across markets.
• Establish TA metrics dashboards and report to execs and board.
• Oversee ATS/CRM tech stack and partner with marketing on talent brand.
• Drive DEI in hiring and ensure compliant processes globally.
• Manage TA budget, tooling, agencies, and immigration partnerships.
• Partner with leaders on org design and market talent trends.
