Job summary

Vecima Networks Inc. is seeking a Trade Compliance Analyst to ensure import/export compliance and accurate documentation across domestic and international markets.

You will support order processing and collaborate with Sales, Shipping, and Operations to ensure on-time fulfillment and customer satisfaction. The role requires a diploma or degree in a related field, 2–4 years in customs compliance or logistics, and strong knowledge of HTS and trade agreements.

Qualifications

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, International Trade, Business, or related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in customs compliance, logistics, or international trade.
• Working knowledge of import/export regulations and HTS classifications; familiarity with USMCA or trade agreements.
• Experience with customs brokers and freight carriers.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and ERP systems; experience with shipping platforms is a plus.
• Certified Customs Specialist (CCS) designation or willingness to obtain is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure 100% compliance with import/export regulations by maintaining accurate documentation.
• Classify products using HTS across multiple jurisdictions and maintain tariff databases.
• Prepare, review, and submit customs documentation and duty-related claims on schedule.
• Coordinate with brokers, carriers, and regulatory agencies to resolve issues promptly.
• Audit trade compliance records, COO documentation, and HTS classifications.
• Verify freight, brokerage, and tax invoices for accuracy and cost control.
• Partner cross-functionally to set up compliant trade data for new products in ERP.
• Provide responsive support to internal stakeholders and customers on orders and shipments.
