Job summary

Reimer Associates Inc. is seeking a Logistics Specialist to coordinate domestic, U.S. and international shipments for retail fixtures and display components from Burlington. The hands-on role supports an experienced logistics manager within a close-knit team.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of logistics experience, with strong Excel skills and a proven ability to manage multiple shipments and priorities on time.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years experience in logistics or related field.
• Experience supporting retail rollouts, fixtures or other time-sensitive project work preferred.
• Broad logistics experience across transportation coordination, vendor management and shipment administration.
• Knowledge of customs, tariffs, brokerage or trade compliance is an asset.
• Strong Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs and PivotTables; Smartsheet experience is an asset.
• Excellent organization, attention to detail and follow-through.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate domestic, U.S. and international shipments of fixtures, signs and display components.
• Arrange transportation from third-party suppliers to build sites and regional distribution centres.
• Consolidate shipments from multiple vendors where required.
• Prepare and manage shipping, customs and related documentation.
• Work with trucking companies, freight providers, customs brokers, vendors, project managers and customer teams.
• Track shipments and proactively communicate delivery updates, risks and schedule changes.
