Job summary

ALS is seeking a Business Development Manager for its Mine Production Testing Services. You will identify and pursue growth in international markets, build strong partner relationships, and drive revenue aligned with ALS's standards across geochemistry, metallurgy, and related services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in business/marketing/economics fields.
• Sales or business development certification.
• 5–7 years in business development or senior client service with international exposure.
• Geochemical/geology experience in analytical/metallurgical labs (3–5 yrs).
• CRM usage and data analysis proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Identify and evaluate new international markets and customer segments.
• Develop and manage relationships with key partners for regional expansion.
• Lead go-to-market strategies with sales and service teams.
• Maintain a robust opportunity pipeline through networking and events.
• Coordinate with legal, finance, and client services to drive contracts and expansions.
• Align proposals to price strategies and market conditions.
• Follow up on quotes and tenders in collaboration with client services.
• Promote ALS services through technical seminars and brown bags.
• Expand scope with existing clients across ALS service lines.
