Job summary

Husky Technologies is seeking a Logistics Analyst in Bolton, Ontario to collect and interpret logistics data, evaluate the efficiency of transits, and identify streamlined transportation methods for global needs.

As part of the Global Supply Chain team, the Logistics Analyst will analyze freight lanes, monitor costs, and ensure on-time delivery while collaborating with supply chain, logistics, customs and trade compliance teams to increase efficiency and reduce costs.

Qualifications

• College diploma with logistics background or equivalent long-term work experience.
• Strong math skills.
• About 5 years of experience in global supply chain and transportation freight analysis.

Responsibilities

• Perform lane analysis for freight movement by mode and support profitability plans.
• Access third-party databases to extract data for analysis.
• Support rate negotiations and spot rates to achieve competitive rates.
• Create processes to monitor quotes vs actuals and ensure rate adherence.
• Maintain pricing formulas and rate tables and communicate changes to stakeholders.
• Review logistics accessorial charges and identify cost-saving actions.
• Monitor lane capacity and notify of negative trends.
• Collaborate with supply chain, logistics, customs, and trade compliance globally to improve efficiencies.
• Design cost and delivery reporting for visibility of logistics costs.
• Work with accounts on rates and billing; rectify invoicing issues.
• Create processes to implement Carrier KPIs.
• Monthly KPIs (Carriers, service, budget, financial).
• Outbound cost and quote management.
• Support Sourcing Manager in RFQs, budgets and forecasting.
