Job summary

Northland Power Inc. seeks a Sr Manager, HR Services to lead global HR services and payroll, ensuring scalable, compliant, employee-centric support across the lifecycle. You will drive process standardization, automation, and data governance in partnership with HR, Finance, IT and Legal.

You’ll manage a team of 4+ direct reports, oversee Workday data, KPIs and SLAs, and champion continuous improvement, governance, and risk mitigation to enable strategic people operations across regions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Admin, Information Systems, or related field.
• 8+ years HR operations, global payroll, shared services or HR tech experience.
• 5+ years leadership experience managing HR services teams.
• Experience with HR service delivery, case management, and payroll processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead HR Services and Payroll operations globally with a focus on excellence.
• Oversee Workday data management, process design and system optimization.
• Establish KPIs, SLAs, governance, and reporting across regions.
• Partner with HR, Finance, IT, Legal and external vendors for service delivery.
• Drive automation, process standardization and continuous improvement.
• Manage HR case management and ticketing platforms effectively.
• Lead talent development and oversee a high-performing team of 4+ reports.
