ABOUT THE ROLE

As the Global Head of Tech Strategy & Finance reporting to the Chief Technology Officer, you will be responsible for defining and executing the strategic direction of our global technology investments. You’ll play a pivotal role in connecting our long-term tech roadmap with financial performance, ensuring alignment between innovation, scalability, and business growth. This role bridges the gap between technology leadership and finance, driving strategic initiatives, ROI evaluation, budgeting, and vendor management for all tech-related functions.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Support technology strategy execution by coordinating planning cycles, strategic priorities, and project portfolios across tech functions.

• Own financial management for the technology team, including budgeting, forecasting, vendor spend, and cost control reporting.

• Partner with Finance and Procurement to track technology investments, SaaS contracts, and capital expenditures.

• Develop and maintain dashboards and reporting tools to monitor performance KPIs, project ROI, and cost efficiency metrics.

• Facilitate prioritization and governance across initiatives such as cloud migration, infrastructure upgrades, and tooling enhancements.

• Prepare business cases, board materials, and strategic planning documents to support decision-making for major tech initiatives.

• Coordinate cross-functional projects in collaboration with engineering, data, security, and finance stakeholders.

• Apply Agile methodology to project estimation and execution.

PRIMARY SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

• Degree in Finance, Business Administration, Technology Management, or a related field. A master's degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CFA, PMP, ITIL) is a plus.

• Minimum 10 years of experience in a strategy, finance, or operations role , ideally within a tech, fintech, or consulting environment.

• Strong understanding of technology functions and cost drivers, including infrastructure, software development, cloud services, and tooling.

• Deep expertise and experience in organizational Agile transformation and Agile project management.

• Proven ability to manage budgets and perform financial analysis, with a strategic mindset and attention to detail.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to synthesize technical and financial information for diverse audiences.

• Experience with tools like Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or Workday Adaptive Planning is an asset.
