Our Reliability Centre of Excellence is seeking a Senior Strategy Manager to develop and drive critical business initiatives that directly enhance service reliability and improve the customer experience. This high-visibility role combines strategic planning, stakeholder leadership, and executive influence to define the future of our reliability initiatives. As a key leader, you'll partner with executives and stakeholders across the organization to shape strategic direction and optimize operations.

As a Senior Strategy Manager in our Reliability Centre of Excellence, you’ll craft strategies that bolster service reliability, operational excellence, and customer satisfaction. Collaborating with senior leaders across Network, Systems, Operations, Finance, and more, you’ll drive initiatives that improve product delivery, uncover business insights, and deliver actionable recommendations aligned with our financial goals and long-term vision.

You’ll lead strategic discussions with executives, providing decision support through compelling storytelling that influences business direction. With a strong understanding of our KPIs and priorities, you’ll build trusted partnerships across teams to anticipate opportunities, align initiatives, and ensure seamless execution. Your leadership will accelerate high-impact projects, improve planning, and deliver measurable outcomes to realize our vision of proactive, reliable service.

This role is ideal for a highly organized, proactive problem-solver who thrives in complex, fast-changing environments and can drive clarity and results in key initiatives.

Here’s how

  • Strategic Planning : Design and implement strategic roadmaps, transformation initiatives, and actionable plans that drive competitive advantage and measurable results.
  • Effective Communication : Develop compelling executive narratives, presentations, and reports to inform decisions and prepare leadership for engagements.
  • Leadership and Inspiration : Lead business reviews, governance forums, and executive discussions, ensuring alignment and effective follow-up.
  • Process Optimization : Drive operational improvements, streamline processes, enhance cross-functional communication, and leverage digital tools, including AI, for efficiency.
  • Project Management Support : Provide strategic counsel and support for cross-functional initiatives, facilitating executive engagement across units.
  • Program Support : Monitor business performance via KPIs and strategic analysis, providing insights to guide strategy and resource allocation.

Qualifications

What you bring

  • 3–5 years of experience in strategy consulting, corporate strategy, or an internal strategy role.
  • Proven ability to lead strategic initiatives from conception to execution, delivering measurable results and driving transformation.
  • Strong analytical skills with financial acumen, capable of translating data into insights, business cases, and recommendations.
  • Proficiency with financial modeling, business case development, and KPI design, linking initiatives to outcomes.
  • Exceptional communication and storytelling skills, with experience presenting to senior executives and building stakeholder relationships.
  • Experience managing large, complex projects with strategic and hands-on approaches.
  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced, evolving environments, assessing priorities and navigating ambiguity.
  • Proven ability to build trusted relationships with senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, or related; MBA or graduate degree is an asset.

Location : Any major Canadian city

Salary Range : $102,000-$154,000

Performance Bonus or Sales Incentive Plan : 15%
