Job summary

MineSense Technologies is seeking a Head of People in Vancouver, BC. This role partners with executives to connect business priorities to leadership, culture, and scalable people practices across global locations.

You will shape strategy, lead talent initiatives, and ensure exceptional employee experiences while guiding governance, governance, and compliance across the employee lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in HR or related field.
• 10-12+ years of progressive People/HR experience, including 6-8+ years in leadership with executive partnerships.
• Strong knowledge of employment standards, privacy, and workplace obligations.
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders and balance employee experience with business outcomes.
• English communication required; Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Shape and lead MineSense's global People strategy and operating priorities.
• Advise executives on global workforce initiatives, culture, and leadership.
• Oversee global talent practices including recruitment, onboarding, performance, development, and retention.
• Align compensation, benefits, recognition, and promotion practices with equity and market competitiveness.
• Ensure compliance and governance across People processes; drive data-driven decisions.
