Job summary

FedEx Trade Networks Canada is seeking a Pricing Specialist to prepare spot quotes using pricing tools, ensuring timely submission and alignment with corporate strategy. You will coordinate with Product and Sales for specialised quotes, and maintain pricing data across SharePoint and pricing databases.

The role requires deep knowledge of Incoterms, strong Excel skills, and 5+ years in internal pricing within transportation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of College required.
• CIFFA/CITT required or equivalent business related course preferably with a focus in International Supply Chain/Logistics or equivalent experience
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Internal Pricing in a reputed Transportation and Brokerage firm and prior experience with Spot Quote preparations is required
• In depth knowledge of trade terms (Incoterms 2010) is required
• Proficiency in Excel for accurate data-entry is crucial
• Proficiency in Microsoft Access is an asset.
• Solid knowledge of Import and Export process and strong numerical ability
• Strong problem solving, communication, inter-personal, initiative and time management skills are a must
• Should demonstrate active team-player skills
• Strong organization and customer service skills are required

Responsibilities

• Prepare spot quotes using pricing tools and present professionally according to strategy
• Enter and update quotes to improve reporting accuracy and status
• Coordinate pricing with Product Managers and Sales for specialized quotes
• Record completed rate requests on SharePoint per documented process
• Maintain current pricing rates in pricing database and validate data integrity
• Perform other duties as advised by the Manager
• Contribute to improved pricing strategy in Canada
