Vention is seeking an execution‑oriented Director of Procurement to lead global supplier management and cost optimization initiatives across our rapidly growing hardware platform. This role will improve gross margins, strengthen supply chain resiliency, and scale procurement operations to support global expansion.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field related to procurement is required.
• 8+ years in strategic sourcing, procurement, or cost engineering in industrial settings.
• Proven ability to negotiate complex multi‑million‑dollar supplier agreements.

Responsibilities

• Lead the annual cost reduction program with clear savings targets tied to gross margin improvement.
• Develop top‑down and bottom‑up cost reduction roadmaps for major spend categories.
• Identify and execute cost reduction levers such as supplier negotiations and value engineering.
• Partner with engineering, operations, finance to embed cost competitiveness into design and sourcing.
• Build supplier negotiation strategies and 360‑degree performance reviews.
• Develop should‑cost models for materials and processes to benchmark suppliers.
• Establish procurement analytics, dashboards, and KPI reporting for governance.
• Standardize the Master Supply Agreement framework across key suppliers.
• Audit and monitor critical vendors for quality, ESG, and compliance.
• Support supplier qualification and risk assessment processes.
• Monitor global commodity pricing trends and identify sourcing risks and opportunities.
• Drive procurement maturity and governance to support rapid growth.
