Job summary

FedEx Logistics is seeking a senior Customs Operations leader to plan, manage, and direct a team of professionals. The role focuses on adapting processes to changing import/export regulations while ensuring compliance and cost efficiency.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree, extensive Global Trade Services experience, and a track record in international logistics. Some travel is required; Québec bilingual capability is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent.
• Global Trade Services - 6 years.
• Progressive experience in International Logistics or Customs Brokerage including two years of management experience.
• Qualifications from Revenue Canada, Customs & Excise or CSCB Qualification status required. US Customs qualification.

Responsibilities

• Plan, manage and direct a team of customs professionals to ensure process, procedures and policies are modified in response to import/export regulatory changes in a timely and cost effective manner.
• Ensures regulatory and operational compliance through research, ongoing audits and feedback.
• Develops divisional and global clearance solutions for strategically selected industries, markets or specific customer requirements.
