Position Overview

Global Account Executive - Energy/Resources

Wipro’s Energy, Manufacturing, & Resources Sector provides industry-leading IT services and solutions globally. We are seeking a Global Account Executive (GAE) based in the Calgary metro area. The GAE will lead strategic accounts, possess deep industry knowledge, and build relationships at the C-Level. The role focuses on sales, strategic planning, growth targets, and P&L ownership of the account(s).

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage end-to-end sales and executive relationships within the account
  • Oversee the account P&L (greater than $30M US)
  • Drive revenue growth and achieve sales targets
  • Identify and prioritize opportunities for services and large transformation projects
  • Structure high-value, strategic deals leveraging industry and technology knowledge
  • Develop strategies and lead change management to grow market share
  • Manage C-level relationships and act as a trusted advisor
  • Track and communicate progress against goals
  • Collaborate with internal teams and partners to grow the account
  • Manage operational activities on the account
Qualifications
  • 15+ years of experience selling IT services to CXO-level clients in Energy, Resources, or Utilities
  • Experience managing a client portfolio of at least $30M+
  • Broad experience across IT services including Cloud, Data, Analytics, Infra, AI, Cybersecurity
  • Preferred experience in selling AMS, Infrastructure, Security solutions
  • Consistently exceeded sales targets
  • Knowledge of global delivery models and offshore collaboration
  • Ability to build relationships with senior client executives
