Job Summary:
The Account Manager plays a crucial role in managing client relationships and overseeing the implementation of projects within the company. Reporting to the VP Operations, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and directing client accounts to ensure successful project delivery and client satisfaction. Your role involves driving business growth by expanding existing client relationships and attracting new clients while ensuring the quality and profitability of the services provided.
Specific Responsibilities:
- Provide advanced technical solutions for the design, development, and implementation of automation systems.
- Address complex technical challenges and ensure solutions meet client specifications and industry standards.
- Oversee the creation of detailed design specifications, system architectures, and engineering documentation.
- Review and approve design work performed by the project team.
- Lead and manage automation projects from concept through to completion.
- Help ensure projects are completed on time and within scope.
- Mentor and support junior integrator and technical staff.
- Provide guidance, training, and performance feedback to foster professional growth and development.
- Act as the primary technical contact for clients.
- Understand their requirements, provide technical recommendations, and ensure high levels of client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensure that all work adheres to quality, safety, and regulatory standards.
- Conduct reviews and audits to maintain high standards and continuous improvement.
- Work closely with Work closely with other departments such as Automation Field services, OT Solutions, and Engineering to ensure cohesive project execution and effective problem resolution.
- Communicate effectively and contribute to a positive team environment.
- Ensure comprehensive and accurate project documentation, including design documents, technical reports, and user manuals.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Computer Science, or related field). A Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, PE) is highly desirable.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in industrial automation engineering, with at least 3-5 years in a senior or lead role. Proven track record of successful project management.
- Extensive knowledge of industrial automation systems, control systems, PLCs, SCADA systems, and related technologies. Proficiency in engineering design and analysis tools.
- Strong leadership abilities with experience in managing and mentoring engineering teams. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Demonstrated experience in managing complex engineering projects, including planning, budgeting, and resource management.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to tackle complex technical issues and develop effective solutions.
- Proven ability to interact effectively with clients, understand their needs, and deliver high-quality engineering solutions.
