GIS Analyst / Mapper

We are seeking a motivated, positive and dependable full-timeGIS Analystto join our team of Forest Professionals in GOLDEN, BC

As a GIS Analyst, you will be responsible for creating, modifying, maintaining, displaying and troubleshooting GIS maps and databases for forestry-based projects in the Natural Resource sector.

This role involves working closely with both staff and clients to complete a variety of GIS tasks to meet client deliverables. You will work as part of a team of GIS professionals on a range of projects, leveraging your GIS expertise and client interaction skills. A key aspect of this position is your eagerness to learn, adapt, and innovate in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

PFC has openings for junior forest technicians. These positions are 100% field oriented. Work is located in Golden, BC.

• Some experience or forestry education is preferred
• Valid BC Driver’s Licence
• Physically fit and willingness to work in adverse weather conditions

Senior Forestry Engineers/Cruisers

PFC has openings for experienced Forest Technicians and a Head Cruiser. Work will include all duties associated with road and block engineering and cruising.. Required skill set:

• Forestry Degree or Technology diploma or equivalent experience
• 5 years of experience in road and block layout (cable and conventional)
• Registered (or eligible) with the Association of BC Forest Professionals
• Able to work in both town and camp situations
• Valid BC Driver’s Licence
