Job summary

Strategic Natural Resource Consultants Inc. is seeking Senior & Intermediate Forestry Layout Technicians for site-based work in Prince George, BC. The role focuses on forest engineering, timber development, road layout and geospatial analysis across outdoor environments.

You will apply navigational tools, maps, GPS surveys and ArcGIS, with proficiency in MS Office. Camp shifts are required and FPBC registration is an asset.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of forest engineering and timber development, including harvest planning, road layout & design, and deflection line analysis.
• Knowledge of Interior harvest & silvicultural systems.
• Physically fit and interested in working in outdoor climates year-round.
• Knowledge and understanding of navigational tools, maps, GPS surveys and applications, and general computer skills (MS Office, and ArcGIS).
• Must be able to work camp shifts.
• Registration with the FPBC as an RPF, RFT, FIT, TFT etc., would be an asset.

• Hourly compensation ranges from $31.00 - $38.00 depending on experience and designation.
