Job summary

The Opportunity

You will assist with GHG and Air regulatory reporting corporately for provincial, federal, and corporate reporting requirements. Working in the Calgary Head Office offers countless opportunities to advance your career in an atmosphere where teamwork, innovation and your expertise are valued. You will also contribute to the success of Canadian Natural’s operations through analysis of GHG emissions and interfacing directly with Canadian Natural’s asset teams to improve our environmental performance.

  • Term length: 8 months or 12 months
  • Term start: January 2027
  • Job location: Calgary, AB
  • Shift schedule: 5 x 2 - 8 hours (Monday – Friday)

Key Accountabilities
  • Assist with the coordination of information on GHG performance from project team members and consultants for the submission of reports and for use in management strategies
  • Support with the preparation of project information for presentation to management, investors and external analysts
  • Work with operations regulatory staff in managing GHG reduction commitments for specific assets
  • Assist regulatory and environmental coordinators in the preparation and submission of regulatory reporting requirements related to GHG and air emissions
  • Support tracking of regulatory compliance
  • Develop an understanding of large GHG source facilities to validate emission data
