Job summary

AgeCare is seeking a Registered Nurse in Ontario to collaborate with the Director of Care in delivering resident-centered care. The RN will apply knowledge, judgment, and interpersonal skills to provide safe and ethical professional nursing services, promoting a culture of resident safety and quality care.

You will coordinate nursing services, lead shift reports, and document changes in residents' conditions.

Qualifications

• Background in geriatric, rehabilitation or long-term care nursing.
• Registered nursing with active provincial registration.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate nursing and other services for residents within the neighbourhood and residence.
• Lead shift reports with the health care team and inform changes in resident status.
• Record significant changes in residents' conditions and ensure chart documentation meets policy.
• Review and process physician orders and communicate issues promptly to the Director of Care.
