Job summary

Stantec is seeking an experienced geotechnical engineer to join our Calgary team, leading mid-sized to large projects and mentoring junior staff. You will apply field, lab, and design expertise to deliver safe, sustainable geotechnical solutions.

Join a global engineering firm focused on client relationships, innovation, and growth of our geotechnical practice across Western Canada. Calgary-based role with field, office, and lab work.

Qualifications

• 8–12 years of geotechnical engineering experience.
• P.Eng. with APEGA registration or eligibility.
• Valid Canadian driver’s license with access to a vehicle.
• Ability to live and work in Canada; residing in Alberta or willing to relocate.

Responsibilities

• Lead mid-sized to large geotechnical projects with technical oversight.
• Mentor emerging professionals and shape the growth of the geotechnical practice.
• Develop client relationships and deliver projects on time and within budget.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Geotechnical or Geological or Mining Engineering, or Geology

P.Eng. with APEGA or eligible for registration
