Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Senior Hydrogeologist to join our environmental services team across western Canada, including Calgary. You will lead hydrogeological studies, manage projects, and mentor junior staff, delivering high-impact assessments and groundwater modeling expertise.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Geoscience, Engineering, or related field required.
• Licensed Professional Engineer or Geologist is required or soon-to-be licensed.
• Minimum 10 years of related experience, or an equivalent combination.
• At least four years of experience executing technical aspects of medium to complex projects.
• Good driving record and valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Lead hydrogeology projects and manage client relations and proposals.
• Develop conceptual hydrogeological models for field programs.
• Supervise and mentor junior staff and review deliverables.
• Oversee drilling/logging, sampling, and aquifer testing activities.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams on assessments and permitting.
