Job summary

ACCIONA Energía is seeking a Geotechnical Technical Coordinator to support the ECWE program and related geotechnical activities across underground stations, tunnels, cut-and-cover sections and utilities. You will translate geotechnical requirements into constructible designs and coordinate among designers, consultants, and construction teams.

The role emphasizes coordinated investigations, testing, monitoring, and appropriate temporary works within a major civil infrastructure environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Geotechnical, Civil, Geological Engineering or related discipline.
• Typically 3–5 years of relevant geotechnical experience in infrastructure, tunnelling or transit projects.
• Experience coordinating geotechnical activities across design and construction environments.
• Experience reviewing geotechnical reports, drawings, specs and technical submissions.
• P.Eng eligibility is considered an asset.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate geotechnical, geological, and hydrogeological activities across project packages and act as the main interface among designers, consultants, construction teams, subcontractors and management.
• Review geotechnical investigations, lab tests, groundwater assessments, and site characterisation to support design and construction.
• Ensure geotechnical requirements are integrated into stations, tunnels, portals and utilities; support excavation, diaphragm walls, shoring and temporary works as needed.
• Prepare technical reports, coordination summaries, and project status updates for engineering leadership.
