Job summary

ConeTec Group is seeking a Driller Assistant to support field drilling operations at project sites. The role involves assisting with equipment setup, operation, and site preparation while following safety protocols.

The successful candidate will work closely with Drillers, Engineers, and Technicians in a fast-paced environment. A strong work ethic, willingness to learn, and the ability to perform physically demanding tasks are essential for progression within the company.

Qualifications

• Experience in drilling, construction, mining, or heavy equipment operation is an asset.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks (lifting up to 50 lbs).
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with setup, operation, and maintenance of drilling rigs and sampling equipment.
• Follow safety procedures and participate in daily safety meetings and hazard assessments.
• Communicate equipment issues or site observations to Supervisor or Project Manager.
• Support general site cleanup, maintenance, and troubleshooting as needed.
