Job summary

All Service Dr drilling (Part of the Geotech and ConeTec Group) in Regina, SK is seeking a Drill Assistant to support drilling operations, supply tooling and materials, and help the crew deliver geotechnical services across the province. You will assist the Driller, handle drill rods and core samples, maintain inventory for the rig and support vehicles, and work in remote or varied weather conditions.

A valid Class 5 or 3 licence, 1–3 years drilling experience, and a pre-employment drug test are

Qualifications

• Must maintain a valid Class 5 or 3 Driver's Licence.
• 1-3 years experience in geotechnical or environmental drilling is an asset.
• Mechanical ability to troubleshoot and repair small equipment is an asset.
• Complete and pass a pre-employment drug & alcohol test.
• Experience working in the field, in remote and/or varied weather conditions for extended periods of time.

Responsibilities

• Continuously prepare and supply the driller with tooling and materials necessary to maintain the drilling operations.
• Handle drill rods and casing, core tubes and core samples.
• Maintain and organize appropriate inventory levels of necessary materials, supplies and tooling for the drill rig and support vehicles.
• Assist the Driller, client and other team members where required.
• Regular and repetitive lifts of 50-90 lbs.

Drill Assistant:

Professional Experience / Qualifications

• Must maintain and possess a valid Class 5 or 3 Driver's Licence.
• Have 1-3 years experience in geotechnical or environmental drilling is an asset.

Compensation

$23.00 - $28.00 per hour based on experience and qualifications.
