Job summary

Ensero Solutions in Canada is seeking an Intermediate Geoscientist to support geochemical characterization and water quality studies across multiple offices and remote sites. The role involves data management, fieldwork, and developing source terms for water quality models, reporting findings to project teams and clients.

You will collaborate with engineers and scientists, mentor junior staff, and contribute to proposals for expanding services in mining and environmental consulting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related science (geology, chemistry, environmental science, or engineering).
• 5+ years of relevant experience in mining, mineral exploration, or environmental consulting.
• P.Geo. or P.Eng. accreditation or eligibility is an asset.
• Familiarity with geochemical modelling (e.g., PHREEQC) is an asset.
• Experience using Leapfrog Geo, ArcGIS, and/or QGIS is an asset.
• Excellent written and oral communication.

Intermediate Geoscientist

Reporting to the Director of Geosciences, the Geoscientist II is responsible for providing technical input in their area of expertise, supporting geochemical characterization and water quality studies through field and office-based work.

About You

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in a related science (geology, chemistry, environmental science, or engineering).

Experience

• 5+ years of relevant experience in mining, mineral exploration, or environmental consulting;
• P.Geo. or P.Eng. accreditation or eligibility is an asset;
• ARD/ML and geochemical characterization experience is an asset;
• Familiarity with geochemical modelling (e.g., PHREEQC) is an asset;
• Experience using Leapfrog Geo, ArcGIS, and/or QGIS is an asset;
• Computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite; and
• Excellent written and oral communication.
