Job summary

Ensero Solutions, an environmental consulting and remediation firm, seeks an Intermediate Geoscientist to join our Geosciences team. The role is Canada-wide with remote options and regular full-time hours, reporting to the Director of Geosciences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in geology, chemistry, environmental science, or engineering.
• 5+ years of mining, mineral exploration, or environmental consulting experience.
• P.Geo. or P.Eng. accreditation or eligibility is an asset.
• ARD/ML and geochemical characterization experience is an asset.
• Familiarity with geochemical modelling (PHREEQC) is an asset.
• Experience using Leapfrog Geo, ArcGIS, and/or QGIS is an asset.
• Computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent written and oral communication.

Intermediate Geoscientist

Reporting to the Director of Geosciences, the Geoscientist II is responsible for providing technical input in their area of expertise, supporting geochemical characterization and water quality studies through field and office-based work.

About You

Education

Experience

• 5+ years of relevant experience in mining, mineral exploration, or environmental consulting;
• P.Geo. or P.Eng. accreditation or eligibility is an asset;
• ARD/ML and geochemical characterization experience is an asset;
• Familiarity with geochemical modelling (e.g., PHREEQC) is an asset;
• Experience using Leapfrog Geo, ArcGIS, and/or QGIS is an asset;
• Computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite; and
• Excellent written and oral communication.

$72,000 - $125,000 a year
