An established industry player is seeking a Heavy Duty Mechanic to join their team at a brand-new mine power plant. This role involves troubleshooting and repairing diesel generators and power plant equipment, ensuring the reliability of critical power generation infrastructure in one of the world’s most remote arctic locations. Responsibilities include troubleshooting and repairing the mine’s diesel generators and new power plant equipment, including models such as C15, C18, Cummins QST, CAT 3516, Isuzu, Shindaiwa, and more.
Requirements:
This opportunity offers an industry-competitive pay rate, daily overtime, 12-hour workdays, an even 'days in' and 'days off' schedule, full on-site room and board including fitness and recreational amenities, paid flights, hotels, meals from the nearest major airport to and from the jobsite, benefits, and more.
