Job summary

Wonderbrands in Langley, BC is seeking a reliable Warehouse Associate to support shipping/receiving, inventory control and order fulfillment. You will operate a Raymond Reach forklift and pallet walk-behind, move pallets to correct freezer slots, and help keep the production floor organized and safe.

Qualifications

• Be a lover of bread and baked goods.
• Solid understanding of warehouse shipping/receiving procedures and equipment.

• Solid mathematical and computer skills.
• Forklift license required; SAP knowledge preferred.
• Previous experience in manufacturing, preferably food manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift and pallet movements in warehouse and freezer areas.
• Move pallets from staging to correct freezer slots.
• Keep production floor, freezer and aisles organized and safe; manage packaging trays.
• Perform visual offload inspections of trailers and ingredients for compliance.
• Pick orders and prepare reefer trailers in correct order.
• Inspect and receive deliveries, verify paperwork and conduct inventory counts.
• Complete paperwork including receiving logs and food safety checks on trailers.

Location: 5345 275 St, Langley Twp, BC V4W 3X8

WAGE: $24.02 / $2.00 per hour, night shift premium (if applicable)
SHIFT: available to work any shift (flexibility with working overtime, and on weekends, as necessary)

Responsibilities

• Work in the warehouse and in/out of the freezer, operating a Raymond Reach Stand-up and/orCounterbalance forklift, and pallet walk-behind.
• Move pallets of finished goods from staging area to the correct slot in freezer.
• Organize production floor, freezer & aisles (maintain requirednumberof trays for packaging & finished products).
• Complete visual inspection of trailers and incoming ingredients to ensure it is within compliance when offloading.
• Pick orders and fill reefer trailer in correct order.
• Inspect and receive all deliveries, ensuring all paperwork is correct and perform inventory counts.
• Complete all paperwork, including receiving logs and conduct food safety checks on trailer.
• Other duties and responsibilities as required.

Requirements

• Be a lover of bread and baked goods!
• You have an excellent understanding of warehouse Shipping/Receiving procedures and equipment.
• You enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, are self-reliant, and be energized by opportunities to learn and grow, and be a steward of your own career.
• Have solid mathematical and computer skills.
• Haveforklift license, and ideally some knowledge of SAP.
• Have previous experience in a manufacturing environment (even better if it was food manufacturing!).
