Job Summary:
The General Manager (GM) will oversee all current and future operations across Saskatchewan and Manitoba, with approximately 11 current locations and 8 direct reports. This position reports directly to the Vice President of Storage Operations. The GM will be accountable for regional operations, including facilities, mobile container logistics, customer service, staffing, and performance management. This role will require regular travel between locations, and a valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle are mandatory.
The ideal candidate possesses excellent communication skills, leadership qualities, and an operational perspective, combined with a strong ability to recognize and leverage growth opportunities, optimize processes, and uphold company values in a dynamic, collaborative environment.
This candidate will proactively assess, negotiate, and execute labor and operational efficiencies to lower costs while complying with company policies and guidelines. They will also approach collaboration positively, working with other management teams to advance the company's financial, cultural, marketing, and personnel objectives.
