Position Overview

The General Manager is responsible for ensuring seamless gym operations, delivering an exceptional member experience, and maintaining financial success. This leadership role involves motivating and leading a team, with a focus on continuous training and development.

Responsibilities
  • Foster a welcoming, friendly environment for members
  • Source, interview, and hire team members, building strong, cohesive teams
  • Manage team schedules and responsibilities for smooth operations
  • Oversee and maintain training standards, coaching team members to improve sales performance
  • Develop and coach staff, providing training on policies and practices
  • Conduct staff meetings, set goals, and motivate the team around objectives
  • Drive business profitability and inspire achievement of targets
  • Ensure member concerns are addressed promptly to promote retention
  • Monitor staff performance and KPI standards
  • Maintain a clean, well-equipped facility
  • Manage payroll and staffing levels
  • Possess comprehensive knowledge of offerings, amenities, and equipment
  • Ensure compliance with policies and maintain operational accuracy
  • Monitor inventory and ensure timely restocking
