Main duties of the job

As the General Manager, your focus will be to ensure the consistent delivery of high-quality, person-centred care, while effectively managing staff, budgets, and operations. Additionally, you will be responsible for the ongoing recruitment, retention, and development of the staff team.

• Being responsible for the ongoing recruitment, retention, and development of staff within the Home.
• Acting as a focal point for contact with residents, their relatives, and visitors, as well as health and social care professionals involved in residents wellbeing.
• Ensuring safe staffing levels are reviewed and maintained in accordance with both occupancy and dependency.
• Providing on-going inspirational leadership and management to the staff team.
• Ensuring costs are well managed and maintained within budgetary controls, by reviewing regularly and monitoring stock.
