Job summary

American Iron & Metal (AIM) is seeking a General Labourer to join our Laval facility. You will sort metals on conveyors, weigh materials, and assist with loading/unloading while upholding safety and quality standards.

The role offers a permanent, full-time day shift (Monday to Friday, 6am–2:30pm) with competitive pay, benefits and RRSP contribution. On-site work with opportunities for training and professional growth.

Job Description

We are currently looking for a General Labourer to join our team at our Laval location.

You will be responsible for sorting various types of materials on the sorting facility's conveyor belts, as well as performing other related duties.

Key Responsibilities :

• Sort and inspect metals based on their characteristics;
• Identify different types of metals and assess their quality;
• Assist with unloading materials;
• Operate various tools and equipment;
• Weigh metals using the scale;
• Perform data entry;
• Prepare receiving and shipping tickets;
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with occupational health and safety standards;
• Perform other related duties as required.

Qualifications
