Job summary

American Iron & Metal (AIM) in Sudbury South is hiring a Non-Ferrous Receiver. Under the Site Manager, you'll receive, sort, classify and weigh non-ferrous metals, maintaining accurate records and ensuring a safety‑minded environment across indoor/outdoor work.

Qualifications

• Forklift operation experience is required.
• Experience in metal recycling is an asset.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office is an asset.

• Excellent attendance and safety record.

Job Description

We are currently recruiting for a Non-Ferrous Receiver with experience for our Sudbury South location. Under the supervision of the Site Manager, the incumbent will be responsible for the general maintenance of the premises.

• Receive, sort and organize different types of non-ferrous metals
• Classifyand establish the type of non-ferrous material
• Properly weigh and track the material
• Do general maintenance of the premises
• Ensure the equipment in good condition
• Data entry into the in-house receiving software
• Help with torch cutting if necessary
• Preparing shipments and receiving equipment using forklift as required
• Work with a safety oriented mindset

Qualifications
