Job summary

American Iron & Metal (AIM) in Stratford is hiring a Non Ferrous Receiver. You will manage ferrous metal receipt, sorting, weighing, and site maintenance under the Site Manager. Forklift operation and customer service on site are key aspects of the role.

• Hourly pay for this position is to start at $25.75, plus overtime after 44 hours.

Job Description

We are currently recruiting for a Non Ferrous Receiver with experience for Stratford location. Under the supervision of the Site Manager, the incumbent will be responsible for the general maintenance of the premises.

• Receive, sort and organize different types of ferrous metals
• Cover the scale and weigh in trucks when required using the RECY system to properly weigh and track the material
• Do general maintenance of the premises
• Ensure the equipment in good condition
• Provide excellent customer service to clients on site
• Operate the Fork lift as required
