Qualifications

• Keep the yard clean and organized.
• Sort and move tires and other materials.
• Assist with loading/unloading material.

Position Overview:

CFT Group is seeking a dedicated General Labourer to join our recycling yard team in Stittsville. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys physical work, thrives in an outdoor environment, and values teamwork. You’ll be involved in sorting and handling materials, keeping the yard clean and organized, and supporting day-to-day recycling operations.

The wage for this position is $20.00- $25.00 per hour.

Key Responsibilities:

• Sort, move, and dump scrap metal safely (steel, aluminum, copper, etc.)
• Keep the yard clean and organized
• Sort and move tires and other materials
• Assist with loading / unloading material
• Report issues and assist with general labour tasks as needed

Qualifications:

• 3-5 years experience in general labour or yard experience is required.
• Physically fit and able to lift 50 lbs repeatedly.
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Reliable, hardworking, and punctual.
• Safety-conscious with a positive, team-oriented attitude.
• Steel-toe boots required (coveralls provided).
