American Iron and Metal (AIM) is seeking a Loader Operator for its Montréal-Est site. You will load and handle various materials with heavy equipment and weigh incoming and outgoing materials in the yard.

You will operate a loader safely, load/unload materials, prepare weight reports, and monitor equipment. A DEP or 1–3 years’ experience, plus a valid competency card and Class 5 license, are required for this role.

• DEP in heavy machinery operation or 1 to 3 years of experience operating heavy equipment.
• Valid competency card for operating heavy machinery.
• Valid Class 5 driver’s license.
• Safety-conscious and committed to health and safety standards.
• Able to manage multiple priorities under pressure.
• Strong communication skills.
• Able to work effectively as part of a team.

Mansioni

• Operate a loader safely and efficiently.
• Load and unload raw materials in the different departments.
• Complete and provide weight reports to the relevant personnel.
• Notify the supervisor of any material non-conformities.
• Inspect machinery at the beginning and end of the shift.
• Feed the production line.

Job Description
