AIM Recycling, a division of AMERICAN IRON & METAL (AIM), is seeking a General Labourer for our Laval location. You will sort metals on conveyor belts, identify metal types, assist with unloading, weigh metals, and prepare shipping tickets in a busy recycling facility.

We offer a permanent, full-time day shift, competitive salary with benefits, overtime after 40 hours, safety boots, training, EAP, and opportunities for development in a dynamic work environment.

Job Description

We are currently looking for a General Labourer to join our team at our Laval location.

You will be responsible for sorting various types of materials on the sorting facility's conveyor belts, as well as performing other related duties.

Key Responsibilities :

• Sort and inspect metals based on their characteristics;
• Identify different types of metals and assess their quality;
• Assist with unloading materials;
• Operate various tools and equipment;
• Weigh metals using the scale;
• Prepare receiving and shipping tickets;
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with occupational health and safety standards;
• Perform other related duties as required.

Qualifications

• Good knowledge of metals (strong asset);
