Job summary

Techo-Bloc Inc. is seeking a hands-on Production Worker to join our Quebec operations. You'll work a day shift from Monday to Friday, 7 a.m.

to 4 p.m., and operate a forklift to move molds and materials along the production line. You’ll help ensure every product meets our high standards and support a clean, safe manufacturing environment. Experience with forklift operation is a plus, and punctuality is highly valued.

• Forklift operation experience is a plus.
• Be punctual and self-motivated.
• Follow safety standards and instructions.

Responsibilities

• Operate the forklift safely and efficiently.
• Transport molds and materials as required.
• Assist in cleaning and maintaining a safe work area.

Job Description

Day shift :Monday to Friday 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Salary : $22.07/hour to $22.62

A key role in our operations!Our production workers are essential to our success. Whether you're new to the industry or looking for a career boost, this is the position for you!

Your daily tasks:

• Clean our molds with a pressure washer
• Transport molds with a forklift
• Review work completed on previous shift and work to be completed according to priorities established by the production supervisor
• Handle products carefully to bring them to the storage line
• Transport various materials and/or supplies for operational needs
• Inspect machinery before the start of each shift and change operators as required
• Ensure the cleaning of the premises and equipment to keep the work environment clean and safe
• Notify the production supervisor of any mechanical breakdowns
• Operate the forklift safely and meticulously
• Be very vigilant in the method of driving, in order to avoid accidents and/or overturns: pedestrians,buildings, fixed equipment, trucks and other machinery
• Use the forklift according to its capabilities and limits
• Be buckled up at all times
• Responsible for cleaning the interior and exterior of the machine
• Comply with company health and safety rules
• All other related duties

Qualifications

• Self-motivated and proactive
• Punctual person is really important
• Ensure compliance with work safety standards and instructions
• Experience as a forklift operator a plus

This is a physically demanding position. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds (23kg). Manual dexterity, teamwork, hand-eye co-ordination and a combination of sitting, standing and walking required.
