Job summary

Aramark is hiring full-time Food Service Workers to join Carleton Dining Services on the Carleton University campus in Ottawa. You will assist with food preparation, portioning, and serving customers, while ensuring accuracy and timely fulfillment of orders. On-site duties include stocking, cleaning, and maintaining a safe, welcoming dining area.

Prior restaurant experience is helpful. Criminal background checks are required.

Qualifications

• Experience in restaurant/food service is an asset.
• Team-oriented with the ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Cash handling experience is an asset.
• Willingness to perform other duties as required.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service while preparing food and fulfilling orders.
• Compile orders accurately and in a timely fashion.
• Receive payment by cash, debit/credit, and campus card.
• Stock shelves, refrigerators, and/or salad bars.
• Assist with opening/closing of the location.
• Keep stations clean and replenished.
• Clean counters and tables.
• Empty garbage.
