Job summary

Aramark operates Carleton University’s dining services. We are hiring full-time Pastry Cooks to prepare a broad range of baked goods in an open kitchen and contribute to quality and presentation.

• Ensure consistent quality, preparation, and presentation of food.

• Assist with weekly inventory.
• Maintain continual cleaning and sanitizing of surrounding work area.
• Ensure adherence to all Aramark Policies and Procedures.
• May perform other job duties as required.

About The Job

• Assist with pastry preparation and baking duties under supervision of the Chef
• Ensure consistent quality, preparation, and presentation of food
• Assist with recipe-based baking and food preparation
• Assist with controlling waste and spoilage
• Assist with culinary auditing, and food safety measures
• Assist with weekly inventory
• Maintain continual cleaning and sanitizing of surrounding work area
• Ensure adherence to all of Aramark Policies and Procedures
• May perform other job duties as required
