Job summary

Guidewire Software seeks a Software Test Automation Architect to own the vision and evolution of test automation frameworks for Guidewire Cloud and AI-powered services. You will spend most of your time hands-on, building resilient test infra, and integrating automation into CI/CD for zero-downtime releases, while shaping AI agentic testing capabilities.

Qualifications

12+ years in software testing and test automation for distributed systems.
Strong skills in Java, Python, or JavaScript and building testing libraries.
Expertise in REST API testing with Karate or Cucumber; browser automation tools experience.
Experience with containers and Kubernetes; CI/CD integration and observability.

Responsibilities

Own end-to-end test automation architecture for Guidewire Cloud and AI-powered services.
Spend 70%+ time hands-on designing and implementing automation frameworks.
Embed automated testing into CI/CD for zero-downtime releases; partner with SRE.
Prototype AI-based testing capabilities and scalable data strategies.
Mentor SDETs and engineers; drive quality standards and patterns.
