O2E Brands in Vancouver is seeking a Test Automation Architect to design, scale, and maintain automated testing frameworks, incorporating AI to optimize test generation and self-healing scripts. This role integrates intelligent pipelines into CI/CD to accelerate time-to-market and ensures high-quality products across environments.

You will lead cross-functional QA standards, mentor teammates, and drive leadership in automation strategy, tooling adoption (Playwright, Katalon, Appium) and KPI

Qualifications

• At least 8–10+ years building test automation across multiple environments.
• Web: frameworks with Playwright & Katalon.
• Mobile: strategies for iOS and Android.
• API: contract testing with Postman.
• Performance: scale using JMeter/BlazeMeter.
• Salesforce: automate complex workflows.
• Agile: automation in Scaled Agile.
• Management: govern QA tooling enterprise-wide.
• CI/CD: embed automated suites into pipelines.
• AI: leverage AI for self-healing test scripts.

Responsibilities

• Define the long-term technical vision and govern enterprise-wide automated testing framework.
• Lead long-term test strategy, evaluate automation tools, and drive QA process improvements.
• Design and govern seamless AI-driven test execution within CI/CD for continuous validation.
• Promote AI/ML capabilities for optimized test generation and self-healing automation.
• Enforce best practices and standards for unit, regression, and integration test suites.
• Standardize QA tooling (Xray, Katalon, Playwright) for traceability across teams.
• Set ambitious automation coverage goals and integrate with complex internal/external systems.
• Collaborate with leadership to define test scope aligned with product goals.
• Mentor team members on advanced automation principles and coding excellence.
• Review automation code and architecture to ensure quality and reusability.
• Provide technical leadership to speed troubleshooting and defect resolution.
• Define KPIs to measure effectiveness, efficiency, and ROI of automation strategy.
• Develop monitoring/reporting for test results and root-cause analysis.
• Centralize management and storage of test artifacts and execution results.
