Job summary

Viva Tech Solutions in Vancouver seeks a QA Automation Engineer to design, develop and improve automation across web, API, and AI-assisted testing. You will implement CI/CD pipelines, work with Selenium, Playwright, Appium, and Robot Framework, and contribute to code reviews in an Agile environment.

Experience with XML/REST/JSON and GenAI tooling to enhance test design and productivity is a plus.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in developing automation testing frameworks for web, API, and AI-assisted testing.
• Proficient with mobile automation tools such as Appium or Robot Framework.
• Experience building QA CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions.
• Strong coding standards and active participation in code reviews.
• Expertise with automation frameworks like Selenium, Playwright, and API-level testing.
• Knowledge of web services (XML, REST, SOAP, JSON).
• Familiar with GenAI tools (GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Azure AI) to improve testing.
• Experience applying Agile methodologies to QA processes.

• Thorough understanding and hands-on experience in developing and enhancing automation testing frameworks, including web, API, and AI-assisted test automation.
• Experience using mobile automation tools such as Appium, Robot framework, or similar platforms.
• Expertise in implementing QA CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar tools.
• Demonstrated skill in using coding standards and being an active participant in code reviews.
• Expert in automation frameworks such as JUnit, TestNG, Selenium, Playwright and API-level test automation.
• Experience with web service technologies such as XML, REST, SOAP, and JSON.
• Knowledge and practical experience leveraging AI/GenAI tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Azure AI) to improve test design, test automation, defect analysis, and productivity.
• Experienced in implementing testing and QA frameworks using Agile methodologies.
