Job summary

Quest Software Canada Inc is seeking a QA Automation Engineer to help define AI-first QA automation practices for our On Demand Migration product on Azure. This role targets experienced engineers who combine QA skills with automation in C#/.NET and cloud platforms.

You will implement system test cases, build cloud-based QA labs, and work within an Agile SCRUM team to deliver high-quality releases with low defect rates.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in computer science or equivalent practical experience.
• 3+ years in commercial software development.
• Experience using AI coding agents and AI-assisted development tools.
• Experience with GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Windsurf, or similar AI platforms.
• Ability to apply AI coding tools to improve software quality and testing.
• Experience with QA/QC environments, mocking, automation, and integration testing.
• Experience with Windows desktop/server environments.
• Knowledge of VM, networking, and cloud environments.
• Strong troubleshooting and collaboration skills.
• Experience with Git and Azure DevOps.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the adoption of AI-first QA automation practices across the project team.
• Design and implement automated tests for On Demand Migration on Azure.
• Create reusable prompts and automation workflows.
• Maintain QA/QC environments and cloud-based labs.
• Collaborate in an Agile SCRUM team to deliver high-quality releases.
