Securiguard Services Ltd. is hiring Gatehouse Guards for a Distribution Centre in Belleville, Ontario. The role is part-time with 12-hour shifts and requires a valid Security Guard License and security experience.

Qualifications

• Valid Security Guard License required.

• Knowledge of CCTV, elevators, alarms, intercoms and life safety systems.
• Physically able to stand, walk, and sit for prolonged periods.

Responsibilities

• Enforce access control at the gatehouse and distribution centre.
• Monitor surveillance and report incidents to the appropriate team.
• Complete clear, concise security reports and log activities.
• Assist with safety procedures and emergency response as needed.

Requirements

• Valid Security Guard License
• Minimum of 6 months of security experience, preferably in Distribution Center/Gatehouse setting
• Has their own reliable personal vehicle to commute
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to enforce access control and basic safety practices
• Ability to write clear, concise and informative reports
• Must be knowledgeable on various systems including but not limited to CCTV various types, elevators, mechanical alarms, intercom systems, fire and life safety systems, control room system
• Physically able to perform various duties. Including, but not limited to, standing, walking, and sitting for prolonged periods of time

Pay Rate: $18.50

Part Time & Casual - 12hr shifts
